The game

THE SAFE is an entertainment game. There is one active safe for everyone and each person has one valid guess per day (UTC). The server generates the code at random and hints are the same for everyone. What’s inside each safe is a fictional, symbolic object: there is no prize in money, goods or services.

Acceptable use

Don’t use multiple identities, automation or reverse engineering to get more guesses or find the code, don’t interfere with the service and don’t try to access other people’s data. We may void guesses, limit access or remove signatures when we detect abuse.

Signatures

Whoever opens a safe may sign it with a 3–16 character name. Don’t publish illegal, offensive, sexual or discriminatory content, impersonate others or reveal personal information. Signatures are reviewed before they’re published and may be rejected.

Safes, hints and archive

If nobody opens a safe within 10 days, the safe gives up and its contents are shown. We may adjust the schedule of safes and hints, fix technical issues or reset a safe affected by a fault.

Ads and purchases

The app may show at most one ad a day after a wrong guess. “Support THE SAFE” is a one-time purchase that removes ads and unlocks cosmetic extras for the store account and platform used to buy it. Tips are voluntary and unlock nothing. No purchase gives guesses, hints or advantages. Price and taxes are shown before you confirm; Apple or Google handle payment, restoring and refunds under their own terms.

Availability

The app is offered as available. We may change or discontinue features for security, maintenance or legal compliance. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
